Hull's first closed-road cycle circuit
The 1km purpose-built track is to be built on the land adjacent to Ennerdale Leisure Centre.
The plans also include the creation of two ponds, the design of which will incorporate ecological enhancements and native planting.
Available for use by local cycling clubs and the wider public.
British Cycling has identified Hull as a priority location for the development of a closed road cycle track. The next nearest available facility is in York.
The works comprise construction of a closed road cycle track, spectator paths and land drainage measures, as well as various improvement works to the existing leisure centre car park.
